Outgrown, Scene #01

Sophia Locke is excited to see her stepdaughter, Gal Ritchie, go off to Prom. But she's shocked when Gal declares that she's not going to go to Prom because it's so heteronormative. Same-sex couples aren't allowed, the dress code is too strict...

Sophia is a bit taken aback but supportive of Gal's decision. She then cheerfully offers to hang out and do a special event of their own but Gal thinks it's lame. Sophia is hurt and it's soon revealed that she misses spending quality time with Gal, fearing that her stepdaughter has 'outgrown' her. That's when Gal realizes she's taken her stepmom for granted, which leads to sparked feelings and a night to remember for both of them.
